    If you opt-in for a physical delivery

    Continental Portugal and Islands: 
    Delivery may take up to 96 hours to be made at the address indicated, unless we are prevented from doing so by circumstances beyond our control. 
    International Shipping:

    4. How do I use the Gourmet Voucher?

    Advance booking is required to use the Gourmet Voucher. This booking can only be made 3 days after the date of purchase and the meal must be reserved in advance by contacting the respective Pousada or Hotel. This will be subject to restaurant availability. It is also essential to hand over the voucher at the time of use.

     

    5. Can I combine vouchers?

    No, this voucher cannot be combined with other vouchers, discounts or promotions.

     

    6. Can I exchange the Gourmet Voucher?

    Yes, up to 30 days before the voucher expires, it can be exchanged for a superior voucher on payment of the respective upgrade.

     

    7. Can I return the Gourmet Voucher?

    Yes, up to 15 days after the purchase date.


    At its sole discretion, the Pestana Group may temporarily close hotels if necessary. These will be temporarily excluded from the scope of this agreement and Pestana Group will always undertake to forward requests to other hotels where justified.

    In which hotels and under which conditions can I use a Gift Card?

    The Gift Card can be used for accommodation services in units of Pestana Hotel Group in Portugal, Pestana Hotels&Resorts, Pestana Pousadas de Portugal, Pestana Collection Hotels and Pestana CR7 Lifestyle brands. Valid for accommodation, bed and breakfast, half-board and All Inclusive rates, not valid at franchised Pousadas and Pestana Tróia Eco-Resort.

    Additional Conditions:

    • The Gift Card is valid for 12 months after the date of purchase. Once this period has passed, the Gift Voucher expires and it is not possible to reactivate it.

    • The Gift Card amount will be deducted from the total amount payable during the stay when making the final payment.

    • A Gift Card can only be used on a single reservation. If the total amount of the stay is less than the value of the Gift Card, the difference will not be refunded.

    • It is not possible to use multiple Gift Cards in a reservation, that is, each reservation allows the use of only one Gift Card.

    4. How do I obtain my Gift Card once I have paid?
    You can choose to have your Gift Card delivered in physical or digital format at the time of your purchase.
    •Physical Gift Cards are delivered by CTT Expresso to the address provided at the time you complete your purchase. Deliveries to Mainland Portugal and the Islands may take 48 hours (business days) from the date of payment. International deliveries may take up to 12 days.
    •Gift Cards are delivered to the e-mail address provided in the purchase process as soon as your payment has been confirmed.
    If you pay through an ATM at the weekend, confirmation of payment will only reach us on the first subsequent business day, meaning your Voucher will only be sent after this date. There are no deliveries at weekends.

    5. How long are Gift Cards valid for? Can they be extended?
    Your Gift Card is valid for 12 months and can´t be extended; it will be cancelled automatically once the expiry date has passed.

    6. Can I exchange or return a gift card or ask for a refund?
    Gift Cards can´t be exchanged or returned once opened.
    Returns - up to 15 days after the date of purchase. Exchanges - up to 30 days prior to the expiry date. The exchange value must be greater than the original purchase value upon presentation of the invoice. We do not exchange Gift Cards purchased at retail outlets. Gift Cards can´t be exchanged for cash or for any product or service other than that purchased. Refunds - Gift Cards are non-refundable through the use of a service with a lower value.

    7. How do I book?
    You MUST PRE-BOOK if you wish to use a Gift Card.
    1. Go to the pestana.com website
    2. Choose a Pousada or Hotel
    3. Choose your dates
    4. Type the number next to the bar code in the "Special Prices" field
    5. Conclude the booking

    8. Can I use more than 1 Gift Card per booking?
    You can only use 1 Gift Card per booking and they cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions in force.

    9. Can I make a booking while the Gift Card is valid and stay at the pousada/hotel after the 12-month period?
    No. You need to check-out within the 12-month period, after which your Gift Card will have expired.

    10. If I have already made a booking, will I be able to use a Gift Card at a later date?
    No. Gift Cards have to be used at the time of booking. If you have already made a booking and want to use a Gift Card, you will need to cancel the initial booking and make a new one. Please note that in this situation the prices may have already changed.

    The Pestana Hotel Group may close hotels on a temporary or permanent basis due to reasons of force majeure, in which case the hotel(s) in question will be temporarily excluded from the scope of this agreement. The Pestana Group will always undertake to forward requests to other hotels when justified.
